1. Location and access
How far is it from the railway station and bus stand? How close is it to where the Yatra begins? A short distance saves energy before and after the climb, which matters even more with children and senior citizens. See our route guide for an example of the details worth asking.
2. Room types and capacity
Ask for a clear list of room categories and how many guests each takes. At Niharika Bhawan we offer AC, Deluxe, Super Deluxe and Luxury rooms, and can discuss dormitory-style options for larger groups.
3. Total price, not just a headline rate
Ask for the full price for your exact dates and group size, and what it includes. Compare the same dates, the same number of guests and a similar room type, otherwise numbers are not comparable.
4. Booking and cancellation terms
Whichever stay you choose, get the booking confirmed in writing. Clarify advance payment, refunds, check-in and check-out times, and ID requirements before you pay.
5. Real photos and recent reviews
Look for actual photographs of the rooms rather than stock images, and read recent reviews on independent platforms. Our rooms page shows photos of each category.
6. Reachability
A place you cannot reach by phone at midnight is not much use to a tired pilgrim. Check that there is a working phone and WhatsApp number and that someone answers.
